IIL Camps offers children aged 9 to 15 who naturally enjoy drawing and painting 4 creative mornings to explore and develop their imagination through watercolour and illustration.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the week, children will discover the basics of illustration: learning how to sketch, experimenting with different drawing techniques, playing with light and shadow, and adding depth to their creations. Watercolors, along with colored pencils and Neo Colors, will then become their allies as they explore colors and textures, transforming their ideas into unique illustrations full of imagination and emotion.<\/p>\n

The theme of the week: fantastical creatures and imaginary worlds.<\/strong> Mischievous dragons, colorful unicorns, funny monsters, or surprising characters\u2026 each child will be invited to invent their own fantastical creatures, giving them personality, movement, and life through drawing. They will also be free to let their imagination run wild and draw whatever inspires them, beyond the proposed theme.<\/p>\n

The camp takes place in small groups (8 to 12 participants), in a warm and stimulating atmosphere that encourages sharing, creativity and self-confidence. The workshop is led by F\u00e9dora, a children\u2019s book illustrator and professional comic book author, who will guide each child with passion, kindness and pedagogical care, sharing her expertise and valuable advice with young artists.<\/em><\/p>\n

Practical information<\/h3>\n

8:30am-8:55am: welcome \/ registration at IIL<\/p>\n

9:00am-10:30am: 1st part of morning camps<\/p>\n

10:30am-11:00am: snack and break. A morning snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children prior to playtime<\/p>\n

11:00am-12:30pm: 2nd and final part of morning camps<\/p>\n

12:30pm: end of morning camps<\/p>\n

Children attending morning camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site<\/strong>. Parents are kindly asked to pick them up at 12:30pm at the IIL entrance gate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n

Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LUNCH OPTIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in an afternoon (PM) camp. Only in this case<\/strong> will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-02:00pm). When registering for this morning camp, you can choose between:<\/p>\n

  • Signing them up for the canteen (additional fee of CHF 84 per week)<\/li>\n
  • Providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee)<\/li>\n
