This week, IIL Camps offers a manual creative camp to discover the basics of sewing or to perfect your skills!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

These relaxing and creative afternoons are designed for children aged 8-12. They will learn step by step the sewing techniques that will enable them to make their own clothes, fashion or interior accessories. Do you want to sew a pencil case? A beach bag? A little skirt? a cushion?<\/p>\n

Children will start by choosing the sewing projects of their choice and the fabrics they like. They will then learn how to use a pattern and cut out their fabrics.<\/p>\n

Guided by Camille, an experienced professional from the Augustine & Balthazar creative haberdashery, they will gradually be introduced to the use of a sewing machine: threading, making the bobbin, different stitches, learning to sew straight\u2026<\/p>\n

As the week progresses and their projects are assembled, they will continue to learn about the sewing machine. The budding stylists will also learn some hand sewing techniques, such as invisible sewing and buttons\u2026<\/p>\n

Sewing is ideal for developing independence, mutual aid and self-confidence. At the end of the week, children will be proud to bring home their creations.<\/p>\n

A week to develop creativity and generate enthusiasm for creating things by yourself!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Practical information<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

1:45pm-1:55pm: welcome\/ registration at IIL<\/p>\n

2:00pm-3:30pm: 1st part of afternoon camps<\/p>\n

3:30pm-4:00pm: snack and break. An afternoon snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children prior to playtime<\/p>\n

4:00pm-5:00pm: 2nd and final part of afternoon camps<\/p>\n

5:00pm: end of camps.\u00a0Parents are kindly asked to pick up their children at the IIL entrance gate, at 5:00pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Late pick-up option possible, up to 6:00pm: +60chf\/week (4 days)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n

Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children attending afternoon camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site beforehand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in a morning camp (AM). Only in this case will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-2:00pm). When registering for the morning camp, you will indeed be able to choose between signing them up for the canteen (additional fee), providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee), or picking them up at 12:30pm and bringing them back by 1:45pm (no additional fee).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
