Dive into the exciting world of video game design, a captivating, immersive experience! <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This camp is not just a basic introduction to IT, it\u2019s a true creative laboratory where Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes the ultimate ally of imagination!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over five mornings, children aged 8-13 are guided by an experienced instructor to learn all aspects of video game design. They discover how to use the most innovative AI tools to bring their ideas to life, even the wildest ones.<\/p>\n

On the agenda for their technological adventure:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– World design:<\/strong> creating unique environments and characters using AI-generated images.<\/p>\n

– Interactive storytelling:<\/strong> learning to structure a story and plots in which the players are the heroes.<\/p>\n

– Introduction to coding:<\/strong> mastering programming logic to animate game elements.<\/p>\n

– Final project:<\/strong> from the first spark of an initial idea to a playable game, each child designs their own project from start to finish.<\/p>\n

The focus will be on creativity, innovation and learning by doing<\/strong>. The instructor will encourage children to push their boundaries, whilst helping them to acquire or improve their computer programming skills. They will learn to turn their ideas into reality, demonstrating independence and imagination.<\/p>\n

Practical information<\/h3>\n

8:30am-8:55am: welcome \/ registration at IIL<\/p>\n

9:00am-10:30am: 1st part of morning camps<\/p>\n

10:30am-11:00am: snack and break. A morning snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children prior to playtime<\/p>\n

11:00am-12:30pm: 2nd and final part of morning camps<\/p>\n

12:30pm: end of morning camps<\/p>\n

Children attending morning camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site<\/strong>. Parents are kindly asked to pick them up at 12:30pm at the IIL entrance gate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n

Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LUNCH OPTIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in an afternoon (PM) camp. Only in this case<\/strong> will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-02:00pm). When registering for this morning camp, you can choose between:<\/p>\n

  • Signing them up for the canteen (additional fee of CHF 105 per week)<\/li>\n
  • Providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee)<\/li>\n
