Ignite your kid\u2019s creativity this summer with our creative woodworking camp, organised in collaboration with Knock on Wood.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Supervised by specialised and passionate professional instructors, children (8-15 y.o.) will be given a gentle introduction to woodworking and learn the basics.<\/strong>
\nDuring the workshop, they will be invited to familiarise themselves with the handling of various woodworking tools<\/strong>. They\u2019ll learn how to cut, saw, assemble, nail, sand and hammer wood, and how to shape it into all sorts of forms.<\/strong>
\nThe skilled instructors will inform them of the safety rules in place to ensure that the activity runs smoothly.<\/p>\n

As well as learning practical skills, children will also have the freedom to put what they have learnt into practice by working on individual wood projects of their choice,<\/strong> according to their aspirations and desires. This will allow them to explore their creativity and develop problem-solving skills<\/strong> while tackling the challenges that arise in the process. Furthermore, the methodology taught is specifically designed to match the skill level of young learners, making it easy to understand and follow.<\/p>\n

Practical information<\/h3>\n

1:45pm-1:55pm: welcome\/ registration at IIL<\/p>\n

2:00pm-3:30pm: 1st part of afternoon camps<\/p>\n

3:30pm-4:00pm: snack and break. An afternoon snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children prior to playtime<\/p>\n

4:00pm-5:00pm: 2nd and final part of afternoon camps<\/p>\n

5:00pm: end of camps.\u00a0Parents are kindly asked to pick up their children at the IIL entrance gate, at 5:00pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Late pick-up option possible, up to 6:00pm: +75chf\/week<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n

Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children attending afternoon camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site beforehand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in a morning camp (AM). Only in this case will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-2:00pm). When registering for the morning camp, you will indeed be able to choose between signing them up for the canteen (additional fee), providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee), or picking them up at 12:30pm and bringing them back by 1:45pm (no additional fee).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
