A brand-new camp to discover the joy of making music and playing an instrument!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Get ready for a week of music, rhythm and fun! Children will take their first steps into the world of music<\/strong> through the pBuzz<\/strong>, a wind instrument specially designed for young children and beginners<\/strong>. Lightweight, colourful and easy to play, it is a great way to discover sounds, breathing, rhythm and different notes step by step.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on the programme? Music games, rhythm activities, listening exercises, simple melodies, different musical styles and, of course\u2026 plenty of playing!<\/strong> Children will also experiment with their voices<\/strong>, bodies<\/strong> and percussion<\/strong> instruments<\/strong> to make music together<\/strong> while developing their sense of rhythm and coordination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No previous musical experience needed! Children do not need to read music or have played an instrument before. This camp is all about discovering music in a fun and accessible way, learning together and enjoying the experience of making music as a group.<\/p>\n

This camp is organised by the Studio Kod\u00e1ly music school, which is accredited by the Geneva State Department of Public Education, Training and Youth (DIP). The workshops will be led by Davide, an experienced trombonist and passionate music teacher, who will guide children on this new adventure.<\/p>\n

A fun and creative first musical experience to build confidence, express yourself and maybe even discover a new passion!<\/p>\n

Practical information<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

1:45pm-1:55pm: welcome\/ registration at IIL<\/p>\n

2:00pm-3:30pm: 1st part of afternoon camps<\/p>\n

3:30pm-4:00pm: snack and break. An afternoon snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children prior to playtime<\/p>\n

4:00pm-5:00pm: 2nd and final part of afternoon camps<\/p>\n

5:00pm: end of camps.\u00a0Parents are kindly asked to pick up their children at the IIL entrance gate, at 5:00pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Late pick-up option possible, up to 6pm max: +75chf\/week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n

Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children attending afternoon camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site beforehand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in a morning camp (AM). Only in this case will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-2:00pm). When registering for the morning camp, you will indeed be able to choose between signing them up for the canteen (additional fee), providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee), or picking them up at 12:30pm and bringing them back by 1:45pm (no additional fee).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
