This camp offers children aged 4 to 7 an introduction to Pilates, in a gentle and fun way!

At the end of this camp, children will be able to link multiple postures, place their breath and coordinate their movements with more agility. The main principles of Pilates will be discussed and transposed into a child’s reality. Children will be introduced to anatomy, functional analysis of movement and its application in space through posture games on a mat and in a hammock, as well as to pilates and fun anatomical challenges adapted to their age.

An activity book, listening to Petit Pilates podcasts and a 7-family card game with 7 groups of movements and 49 characters will also be part of the creative tools used during the sessions, to stimulate the imagination and the awakening of the senses (including hearing, sight, touch, proprioception and the vestibular system).

This camp is run by Mélina and Ylenia, Pilates teachers, certified in the Petit Pilates Method. This method allows children to understand their body, more specifically to strengthen their deep muscles. This helps to better stabilise their posture and balance their flexibility and muscular strength. It stimulates concentration on a physical objective and helps develop listening, breathing, balance and concentration. The method is evolutionary and is adapted to the physical and psychological capacities of each person.

In a spirit of play and sharing, children will develop their motor skills as well as their anatomical knowledge.

The daily practice over the 5 mornings will take place as follows:

9am-10.30pm
Petit Pilates circuit using the positions from the 7 family game. These playful and unusual positions give children real self-confidence and an incredible ability to let go through play. By being involved in the sessions, children stimulate their imagination. These sessions also promote relaxation while toning the body.

10.30am-11am: Break and morning snack

11am-12.30pm: Last part of the session
Breathing on mat and use of accessories / podcasts / challenges / anatomy / Petit Pilates activity book / managing emotions.

Join our gentle and stimulating mornings to get your day off to a great start!
