NEW MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP !
Step into the musical world of Taylor Swift and take the stage to bring her most iconic songs to life!
IIL Camps is delighted to continue its collaboration with Simply Theatre and to offer boys and girls aged 7 to 11 this brand-new musical theatre camp, inspired by one of the greatest artists of our time.
On the program:
- Explore Taylor’s greatest hits, from her early country anthems to her chart-topping pop songs
- 5 full days of intensive and fun work, entirely in English, with two passionate Simply Theatre professionals: a choreographer and a drama teacher
- Children will perform some of Taylor’s most famous tracks, focusing on singing, acting, and dancing to develop vocal interpretation, stage presence, and storytelling.
- A final filmed performance on Friday, sent to families as a keepsake of this unforgettable artistic journey
With a blend of acting, singing and choreography, children will learn to embody the emotions behind each song while shining on stage, and creating memorable performances.

Simply Theatre is Switzerland’s leading English-speaking performing arts training school and theatre company. It brings its expertise in drama, singing, acting, comedy, and dance, all in English, to ensure a camp that is both professional, creative, and fun.
Requirements: No prior theatre experience is necessary, however children must be native English speakers or fully bilingual, as the camp is conducted exclusively in English.

Practical info
Families must drop off and pick up their children at IIL (Institut International de Lancy).
8:30am-8:55am: welcome /registration of children at IIL’s main entrance
9:00am-12:30pm: morning activity
12:30pm-1:55pm: lunch (options)
2:00pm-5:00pm: afternoon activity
5pm: end of camp. Parents are kindly requested to pick-up their children at the IIL entrance gate. If you allow your child to return home alone, please kindly inform us by email at iil-camps@iil.ch, otherwise we will not be able to let him/her leave IIL.
Late pick-up option (up to 6pm): +75chf/week
Morning and afternoon snacks are provided and included in the camp fee.
Lunch is NOT included. When registering online, parents will have the options to choose between registering their child at the IIL canteen (+105chf/week), providing him/her with a picnic (free of charge supervision) or picking him/her up at 12.30pm and bringing him/her back at 1:45pm

By registering your children for the camps, you acknowledge and fully accept our general terms and conditions, and confirm that they have all the required insurance covers (health, accident and third party liability).

** Image rights: Your authorisation authorises the Institut International de Lancy to publish photographs/videos of your child on the IIL/IIL-Camps website and social networks. Without this authorisation, your child will not be able to appear in the camp photo albums sent to parents. IIL is committed to respecting the individual in the choice of photos it publishes.

Detailed information on each camp will be sent by email. Please note that a minimum number of children is required for the camp to take place. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the camp, and to offer an alternative or a refund.
