IIL Camps is pleased to offer children aged 7 to 12 five fun and creative mornings to discover the world of musical theatre in a caring and structured environment.
Throughout the week, children will have the opportunity to sing, dance, and act while taking part in the creation of an original show on the theme “Heroes vs. Villains.” They will imagine a story, create characters, learn songs and simple choreography, and contribute to the design of sets and costumes, allowing their artistic talents to shine freely.
This camp focuses on the joy of creating together and encourages cooperation within the group. It helps children develop self-confidence, creativity, and self-expression in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The week will conclude with a small final performance, designed as a moment of sharing and pride to celebrate the children’s work. The performance will be filmed and sent to families by email as a keepsake.
A wonderful artistic experience to grow, express oneself, and have fun without pressure, led by Holly and Elizabeth, two experienced bilingual teachers at IIL.
Prerequisite
All musical theatre activities are conducted in English (mother tongue of the 2 teachers). While some basic English is helpful to participate, children do NOT need to be fluent. Instructors are happy to adapt for those still developing their language skills.
