Are you between 10 and 15 years old, want to enjoy the freshness of the lake and try something exciting before the new school start?
Then this windsurfing camp is made for you!
During this week, professional coaches at Tropical Corner will introduce you to windsurfing in a safe and fun environment.
You’ll learn the basics: getting on the board, holding the windsurf, gliding over the lake, and even making your first turns…
Everyone will progress at their own pace, with a little hand of group’s support. By the end of the week, windsurfing will be almost second nature!
This camp is the perfect way to discover a fun water sport and boost your balance, coordination, and self-confidence.
Warning: once you’ve felt the thrill of surfing… you might never want to stop!

For safety reasons, only children who are at least 10 years old will be allowed to participate in this camp. In addition, they must be able to swim at least 5 meters underwater without assistance.
IIL Camps reserves the right to cancel any registration if these two conditions are not met.
Please note that our partner will provide all the necessary equipment for this activity, including the windsurf board, a life jacket (mandatory), a harness, a wetsuit, and water shoes for each child.

Practical information
Families must drop off and pick up their children at IIL (Institut International de Lancy).
An IIL school bus will drop off and pick up children at the lake every morning. An IIL camps staff member will always be present with them.
8.30am-8.55am: welcome of children at IIL
9am: departure to the Lake with IIL bus
9.45am-11.45pm: windsurfing camp on the lake
12pm: Return to IIL by school bus
12.30 pm: arrival at IIL and end of camp
A morning snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children.
Children attending morning camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site. Parents are kindly asked to pick them up at 12:30pm at the IIL entrance gate.
Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.
Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.
LUNCH OPTIONS
If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in an afternoon (PM) camp. Only in this case will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-02:00pm). When registering for this morning camp, you can choose between:
- Signing them up for the canteen (additional fee of CHF 105 per week)
- Providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee)
- Picking them up at 12:30pm and bringing them back at 1:45pm (no additional fee)

By registering your children for the camps, you acknowledge and fully accept our general terms and conditions, and confirm that they have all the required insurance covers (health, accident and third party liability).

** Image rights: Your authorisation authorises the Institut International de Lancy to publish photographs/videos of your child on the IIL/IIL-Camps website and social networks. Without this authorisation, your child will not be able to appear in the camp photo albums sent to parents. IIL is committed to respecting the individual in the choice of photos it publishes.
*** specific medical conditions: a nurse will contact you to discuss your child’s treatment.
Detailed information on each camp will be sent by email. Please note that a minimum number of children is required for the camp to take place. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the camp, and to offer an alternative or a refund.
