Come and cool off on the Geneva lake and discover Stand Up Paddling (SUP)!
During this week, teenagers aged 9-15 will take paddleboard lessons with a qualified Tropical Corner instructor and learn how to stand and balance on a SUP. They will be introduced to the precision of the technique, learn to manage strength and speed. With their group, they will take to the water and go for a ride on the lake, discovering its many facets. They will even have the chance to try the “Monstair”, an XXL stand-up paddle that can hold several people, perfect for sharing fun moments on the water!
SUP is a complete sport and a lot of fun ! This camp is supervised by Bryan, an IIL sports coach, and the lessons will be taught by a qualified instructor from Tropical corner, a windsurf and paddle school located near Genève Plage.
Full equipment will be provided (SUPs, Monstairs and life jackets) to all participants. The return trip to the lake will be organised with an IIL school bus. Children should bring a rucksack with a swim suit, towel, a change of clothes adapted to weather, a cap, sun cream and sunglasses.
Prerequisites: For safety reasons, only children who are at least 9 years old will be allowed to participate in this camp. In addition, they must be able to swim at least 5 meters underwater without assistance. IIL Camps reserves the right to cancel any registration if these two conditions are not met.
In case of bad weather (light rain), the activity will be maintained.
