NEW THIS WINTER 2026!
IIL Camps is delighted to offer 9-13-year-olds an exceptional week of Frosty Adventures, entirely dedicated to discovery, exploration, and the joys of winter activities beyond skiing. A rich and varied program, led by passionate professionals, perfect for experiencing winter differently and creating unforgettable memories! Here are the highlights of the week:
Monday – Gliding & Unihockey
The week begins with some morning conditioning/warm-up, followed by a dynamic unihockey session. In the afternoon, the group heads to the Vernets ice rink, an opportunity to let off steam, laugh, and build confidence on the ice!
Tuesday – Snowshoe Day at Grand Bornand (France)
Off to the mountains for an easy yet beautiful snowshoe hike, guided by two ESF instructors. The children explore local wildlife, winter vegetation, and mountain life in a pristine natural setting. A picnic lunch in the snow, in the heart of the Aravis mountains, adds to the charm before continuing the walk. An immersive and inspiring day, enriched by stories from those who live the mountain daily.
Wednesday – Curling & Unihockey
In the morning, the children discover curling, a fascinating Canadian sport where precision, teamwork, and strategy come together. With a specialised instructor, they learn how to deliver the stone with the right balance, sweep the ice to guide its path, and work as a team to reach the “house” and score points.
In the afternoon, back to IIL for a lively unihockey session filled with energy, team challenges, and friendly competition.
Thursday – A Truly Exceptional Day with Sled Dogs
A true highlight of the week! Thursday promises to be unforgettable as the group travels to Saint-Cergue, where the Deluz family welcomes the children into their world: that of Nordic sled dogs.
They meet the pack, learn to recognise the three Nordic breeds, help with basic care, try canirando (easy 2.5 km or 5 km), discover how sled teams work, and witness the unique bond between a musher and their dogs.
The Deluz family shares their passion for these extraordinary animals, a genuine and touching immersion that children often remember for years.
Friday – Biathlon Introduction at Grand Bornand (France)
To end the week on a high note, the children discover biathlon, guided by two ESF instructors, right in the heart of the very resort that will host the 2025 Biathlon World Cup. The day includes cross-country skiing, laser rifle shooting, and a series of fun challenges throughout the activity. A wonderful and energising way to conclude this amazing week.
FROSTY ADVENTURES is more than a camp! Between gliding, nature, animal encounters, and sports challenges, it is above all a collection of experiences that help children breathe, learn, connect with others, move, and marvel at the winter season.
A brand-new IIL Camps creation, carefully designed to offer your child a meaningful, emotion-filled, and unforgettable winter escape.
