IIL Camps is pleased to offer children aged 8-15 who naturally like to draw, 5 exciting mornings to discover or progress in manga drawing.
Children will learn the basics of illustration, how to make sketches, try their hand at various drawing techniques, and understand the play of light and shadow, by drawing their favourite heroes.
From Totoro to Naruto, through Son Goku or other friendly Ghibli characters, each child will have the opportunity to give life to his/her favourite heroes, to put them in motion thanks to drawing, and to learn about various colouring techniques (alcohol markers, watercolour pencils…).
This creative activity, in a small group of 4 to 12 participants, is led by Fédora, a professional children’s illustrator and comic book author, who will distil her expert advice with passion and pedagogy to the young artists.

Practical information
8:30am-8:55am: welcome / registration at IIL
9:00am-10:30am: 1st part of morning camps
10:30am-11:00am: snack and break
11:00-12:30pm: 2nd part of morning camps
12:30pm: end of morning camps
A morning snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children, prior to playtime.
Children attending a whole day of camps will be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-2pm).
Children attending morning camps only will not be able to have lunch on site. Parents are kindly asked to pick up their children at 12.30pm at the IIL entrance gate.

By registering your children for the camps, you acknowledge and fully accept our general terms and conditions, and confirm that they have all the required insurance covers (health, accident and third party liability).

** Image rights: Your authorisation authorises the Institut International de Lancy to publish photographs/videos of your child on the IIL/IIL-Camps website and social networks. Without this authorisation, your child will not be able to appear in the camp photo albums sent to parents. IIL is committed to respecting the individual in the choice of photos it publishes.
*** specific medical conditions: a nurse will contact you to discuss your child’s treatment.
Detailed information on each camp will be sent by email. Please note that a minimum number of children is required for the camp to take place. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the camp, and to offer an alternative or a refund.
