IIL Camps is delighted to offer 7 to 10 year-olds this workshop on creating natural and organic cosmetics. Open to boys and girls!
Over the course of the week, children will make and personalise their own seasonal cosmetics, using natural and organic ingredients that are healthy for their skin and the planet.
On the agenda: making a plant-based scented shower gel to celebrate Autumn, a fun soap for Halloween, a lip balm to protect against the coming cold weather, and many other products!
It’s an opportunity for children to discover the many benefits that nature has to offer for looking after themselves, through a variety of themes (Autumn, Halloween, fruit…), in a creative and fun atmosphere. The natural ingredients used will arouse their curiosity: aloe vera, orange powder, coconut oil, etc.
During the workshops, children will be guided step by step by two experienced instructors, Jessica and Prescillia, from the Association L’Art du Cosmétique au Naturel. They will weigh, mix, choose colours and scents to make their own cosmetics that they’ll be happy to take home and use! At the end of the day, they’ll be proud to say: ‘I did it!

Practical information
8:30am-8:55am: welcome / registration at IIL
9:00am-10:30am: 1st part of morning camps
10:30am-11:00am: snack and break. A morning snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children.
11:00-12:30pm: 2nd and final part of morning camps
12:30pm: end of morning camps
Children attending morning camps only will not be able to have lunch on site. Parents are kindly asked to pick them up at 12.30pm at the IIL entrance gate.
If you allow your child to return home alone, please send us your written authorisation by email to iil-camps@iil.ch., otherwise we will not be able to let him/her leave IIL.
If you would like your children to stay with us for the whole day, you can register them for an afternoon camp (PM). In this case, children taking part in full-day camps will be able to have lunch on site (12.30-14.00). When registering for this morning camp, you will then be able to choose between registering your children for the canteen (additional cost), providing a picnic for lunch at IIL (free of charge), or collecting them at 12.30pm and bringing them back by 1.45pm.

By registering your children for the camps, you acknowledge and fully accept our general terms and conditions, and confirm that they have all the required insurance covers (health, accident and third party liability).

** Image rights: Your authorisation authorises the Institut International de Lancy to publish photographs/videos of your child on the IIL/IIL-Camps website and social networks. Without this authorisation, your child will not be able to appear in the camp photo albums sent to parents. IIL is committed to respecting the individual in the choice of photos it publishes.
*** specific medical conditions: a nurse will contact you to discuss your child’s treatment.
Detailed information on each camp will be sent by email. Please note that a minimum number of children is required for the camp to take place. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the camp, and to offer an alternative or a refund.
