NEW ACTING CAMP IN ENGLISH !

IIL Camps is continuing its partnership with Simply Theatre, offering children aged 7 to 12 an exciting journey into the world of theatre and comedy.

Calling all young agents! As part of this new camp, “Spy Academy, Mission Drama!”, conducted entirely in English, children will train as spies on a daring theatrical mission! They’ll step inside the world of top-secret messages, undercover missions and dramatic intrigue!

Throughout the week, guided by an experienced professional from Simply Theatre, they will explore the basics of acting in a fun and supportive environment. Through a series of engaging exercises, improvisation games and character-building activities, the new recruits will learn key acting techniques such as voice projection, physical storytelling and expression. They will discover the joy of stepping into different roles and bringing exciting stories to life.

From crafting characters to staging exciting scenes, this “Spy Academy: Mission Drama!” will help them build self-confidence and creativity while having a blast in the process!

Simply Theatre is Switzerland’s premier English-speaking performing arts training school and theatre company. Throughout the year they teach drama, singing, acting, dancing, in English, and put on high-quality shows.

Prerequisite: although no experience in acting is necessary, it is mandatory that children are native english speakers or bilingual to follow this camp, which is delivered in English exclusively.

Practical information

Families should drop off and pick up their children at IIL main entrance (Institut International de Lancy).

8:30am-8:55am: welcome /registration of children at IIL

9:00am-10:30am: 1st part of the camp

10:30am-11:00am: snack and break  

11am-12.30pm: 2nd part of the camp

12:30pm-1:55pm: lunch break (options)

2:00pm-3:30pm: 3rd part of the camp

3:30pm-4:00pm: snack and break   

4:00pm-5:00pm: final part of the the camp

5:00pm: end of the camp. Parents are kindly asked to pick-up their children at the IIL at 5:00pm.

Late pick-up option (up to 6:00pm): +75chf/week

Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.

Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.

Morning and afternoon snacks are provided by IIL Camps and included in the camp fee. 

Lunch is NOT included. When registering your children online for this camp, please choose between the 3 available options:

• Signing them up for the canteen (additional fee of CHF 105 per week)
• Providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee)
• Picking them up at 12:30pm and bringing them back at 1:45pm (no additional fee)
