IIL Camps offers children aged 9 to 15 who naturally enjoy drawing and painting 4 creative mornings to explore and develop their imagination through watercolour and illustration.
Throughout the week, children will discover the basics of illustration: learning how to sketch, experimenting with different drawing techniques, playing with light and shadow, and adding depth to their creations. Watercolors, along with colored pencils and Neo Colors, will then become their allies as they explore colors and textures, transforming their ideas into unique illustrations full of imagination and emotion.
The theme of the week: fantastical creatures and imaginary worlds. Mischievous dragons, colorful unicorns, funny monsters, or surprising characters… each child will be invited to invent their own fantastical creatures, giving them personality, movement, and life through drawing. They will also be free to let their imagination run wild and draw whatever inspires them, beyond the proposed theme.
The camp takes place in small groups (8 to 12 participants), in a warm and stimulating atmosphere that encourages sharing, creativity and self-confidence. The workshop is led by Fédora, a children’s book illustrator and professional comic book author, who will guide each child with passion, kindness and pedagogical care, sharing her expertise and valuable advice with young artists.

Practical information
8:30am-8:55am: welcome / registration at IIL
9:00am-10:30am: 1st part of morning camps
10:30am-11:00am: snack and break. A morning snack is provided by IIL Camps to all children prior to playtime
11:00am-12:30pm: 2nd and final part of morning camps
12:30pm: end of morning camps
Children attending morning camps only will NOT be able to have lunch on site. Parents are kindly asked to pick them up at 12:30pm at the IIL entrance gate.
Please note that from now on, any delay in collecting your children will result in a charge of CHF 10 per child for every quarter of an hour or part thereof. Thank you for your understanding.
Should you wish to allow your child to go home alone, please ensure that you send us your written consent by email to iil-camps@iil.ch before the start of the camps; otherwise, we will not be able to allow them to leave IIL.
LUNCH OPTIONS
If you would like your child to stay with us for the full day, you may enroll them in an afternoon (PM) camp. Only in this case will they be able to have lunch on site (12:30pm-02:00pm). When registering for this morning camp, you can choose between:
- Signing them up for the canteen (additional fee of CHF 84 per week)
- Providing a packed lunch every day for them to eat at IIL (supervision and activities included, no additional fee)
- Picking them up at 12:30pm and bringing them back at 1:45pm (no additional fee)

By registering your children for the camps, you acknowledge and fully accept our general terms and conditions, and confirm that they have all the required insurance covers (health, accident and third party liability).

** Image rights: Your authorisation authorises the Institut International de Lancy to publish photographs/videos of your child on the IIL/IIL-Camps website and social networks. Without this authorisation, your child will not be able to appear in the camp photo albums sent to parents. IIL is committed to respecting the individual in the choice of photos it publishes.

Detailed information on each camp will be sent by email. Please note that a minimum number of children is required for the camp to take place. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the camp, and to offer an alternative or a refund.
