1. Conditions of application

These terms and conditions apply to the Foot Lab camps taking place from 15 to 19 July and from 22 to 26 July in Crans-Montana, organised by FOOT LAB and available for purchase on IIL Camps’ website www.iil-camps.ch.

2. Conditions of registration and payment

1. Registration takes place online by filling in the registration form for the chosen Foot Lab camp on www.iil-camps.ch. Registration is final as soon as the automatic confirmation is received by email (please note that this can sometimes end up in the spam folder).

2. In order to guarantee the quality of the camp, the number of places is limited and is allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

3. By submitting the online registration form, the responsible parent declares that he/she has read this contract and agrees to abide by it.

4. By registering online, the responsible parent also declares that he/she has read the camp rules and agrees to discuss them with his/her child.

5. Payment for the camp must be made by credit card at www.iil-camps.ch at the time of registration. Other methods of payment are not accepted. In exceptional circumstances, a bank transfer may be arranged, but registration will not be confirmed until full payment has been received.

6. As soon as the basket has been finalised and the registration fee has been paid, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the adult who made the booking. Further information about the camp(s) booked will be sent at a later date by the camp organiser (Foot Lab).

7. By booking on www.iil-camps.ch, the responsible parent benefits from a negotiated price (CHF 770.-), lower than the public price (CHF 820.-). The price of the full-board camp includes the following:

In the event of cancellation by the responsible parent between 15 and 30 days before the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be refunded. If the cancellation is due to medical reasons, the full price of the course will be refunded less a deduction of CHF 120 (incompressible costs) on presentation of a medical certificate only.

No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 15 days before the start of the course. The full price of the course will be payable. If the cancellation is due to medical reasons, the full price of the course will be refunded less a deduction of CHF 120 (incompressible costs) only on presentation of a medical certificate.

Any course started must be paid for in full. No refunds will be given for absences, late arrivals, voluntary departures (for whatever reason) or dismissals for failure to comply with camp rules.

If a participant leaves the camp for medical reasons, no refund will be given, even on presentation of a medical certificate.

4. Insurance and liability

The parents or legal guardians certify that the child taking part in the camp is insured for private civil liability, as well as against the risks of accident and illness that may occur during the camp.

For children living outside Switzerland, health and accident insurance as well as private liability insurance for Switzerland must be taken out.

IIL Camps and Foot Lab advise against bringing valuables such as mobile phones, games consoles, cameras, etc. to the camp.

IIL Camps and Foot Lab accept no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of participants’ personal belongings.

Foot Lab management has full authority to expel any student whose conduct is incompatible with camp life. In the event of dismissal, parents are required to organise the child’s return within 24 hours. After this time, Foot Lab’s responsibility ceases. Any costs incurred for the return of the child are the responsibility of the parents or legal guardian.

Any costs incurred as a result of damage – intentional or not – caused by a camper are the responsibility of its parents or legal guardians.

5. Personal data and image rights

By registering their child for a Foot Lab camp via www.iil-camps.ch, the responsible parent authorises IIL Camps to transmit all of the participant’s private information and personal/individual data to Foot Lab. All of this information is used solely for the purposes of organising Foot Lab camps and will never be given or sold to third parties.

By registering their child for the camp, the responsible parent authorises and accepts that the photos and videos taken during the camp may be used by Foot Lab and IIL Camps for promotional purposes and published on their websites and social networks, as well as in souvenir photo albums. Foot Lab and IIL Camps are committed to respecting the individual in the choice of photos they publish.

If parents or legal guardians really do not wish to grant this image right, they must notify their disagreement by email to iil-camps@iil.ch and info@foot-lab.com before the start of the camp.

6. Transport

By registering their child for the camp, the responsible parent authorises and accepts that Foot Lab will transport the child, by car or bus, for the activities planned during the camp.

In addition, for those who choose this option at the time of registration, IIL Camps and Foot Lab organise return group transport from Geneva (Cornavin station) to Crans Montana by train, supervised by an instructor, at a cost of CHF 175 per child.
The responsible parent undertakes to arrive with his/her child at the Cornavin station at the agreed time on the Sunday before the camp, and to meet his/her child for the return journey on the Friday evening.

If a participant is absent or late for the outward journey, preventing him or her from taking the train, the responsible parent undertakes to bring the child to Crans-Montana by his or her own means. No reimbursement of transport costs will be made in the event of absence or delay.

If, for medical reasons, the child does not show up at the time and place agreed for the journey, a partial refund, at the sole discretion of Foot Lab/IIL camps, may be considered, subject to presentation of a medical certificate.

7. Medical record

The parents or legal guardians certify that the participating child is in good health and able to take part in a sporting activity.

When registering their child for the Foot lab camp, parents or legal guardians are responsible for informing IIL Camps of any health problems or other specific medical conditions that may or may not require preventive or regular treatment, particularly in the case of allergies, diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, etc. Parents or legal guardians declare that the medical information provided when registering online is accurate.

Any dietary requirements (intolerances, allergies, foods that cannot be eaten for religious reasons, etc.) must also be indicated on the registration form.

Foot Lab and IIL Camps cannot be held responsible if parents/guardians have not notified them of such intolerances or health concerns.

Parents or guardians agree to inform Foot Lab and/or IIL Camps of any changes in their child’s health, if different from that stated at the time of registration.

Foot Lab does not provide sunscreen. It is the responsibility of the parents to provide one for their child. Foot Lab or IIL Camps cannot be held responsible for any intolerance to sunscreen lent by another child (unless the intolerance has been notified in advance).

8. Permission for treatment

The parents or legal guardians authorise Foot Lab to provide their child with any necessary nursing care, and also to administer homeopathic treatment in the event of a headache, blow, bruise, lump, digestive problems or other “minor” ailments (unless otherwise specified in writing).

Parents or legal guardians must be contactable and able to ensure their child’s return at all times. If, however, the emergency contacts are unreachable, the parents or legal guardians authorise the doctor chosen by Foot Lab to provide their child with any medical care required by his or her condition.

If the child’s condition so requires, the parent or guardian also authorises Foot Lab to use ambulance transport to an appropriate care facility such as a hospital or community health centre. In all cases, the parent or legal guardian undertakes to reimburse any medical expenses incurred.
