NEW!
Dive into a colorful and creative plant-filled world with this brand-new summer floral design camp, in collaboration with Blooming Tale!
Over the course of a week of fun and inspiring mornings, children aged 8 to 13 will discover the joy of creating with flowers, plants, and natural elements. Guided by two passionate florists, they will learn essential techniques and skills to create beautiful arrangements inspired by the colors of summer.
Each day brings a new creative adventure:
Monday: Imagine a mini garden under glass – Create a glass terrarium using small succulents and seashells.
Tuesday: Design a timeless summer bouquet – Learn bouquet-making techniques and create a beautiful dried flower arrangement to enjoy for a long time.
Wednesday: Create a floral mural – Enhance your own drawings with flowers to contribute to a large floral artwork.
Thursday: Discover the art of kokedama! What is a kokedama? Kokedama is a unique Japanese technique that involves creating a plant without a pot, by wrapping its roots in a ball of soil covered with natural moss. This “living sphere” can be displayed on a surface or suspended like a small plant sculpture. Children will learn how to craft their own kokedama, understand how the plant thrives in this natural setting, and discover how to care for it. A poetic, fun, and very trendy creation!
Friday: Explore the scents of a Provençal market – On the final day, children will create a basket filled with aromatic herbs to take home and use in cooking.
In a friendly and stimulating atmosphere, children will experiment, craft, create, and go home each day with their own handmade creation.
Everything is designed to nurture their creativity and connection to nature: all materials are provided (containers, flowers, plants, tools), small groups ensure personalised guidance, and a final photo session will celebrate their creations!
A week to create, learn, have fun… and let new passions “bloom”!
